First me, now Joshua!!!

Nearly 15 years ago, I was trapped in a severe addiction to drugs. I’m not proud of that chapter in my life, but it is a real and important part of my story. My addiction led me to a dark place where I resorted to stealing and committing crimes just to sustain my habits.

Everything changed when I encountered Jesus Christ. My transformation began in a Christian Discipleship Home, where I not only discovered the reality of the spiritual battle I was facing—but also began learning how to live differently. I gained practical life skills, like holding a job, managing responsibilities, and living with integrity. I even learned things as simple—but powerful—as manners and public speaking.

Today, people are often shocked when they hear about my past because of the dramatic change God has brought into my life. Even more inspiring is that I now get to witness the same kind of transformation happening in others.
